you can't tell from the picture (oops, photographer's faux-pas), but these suckers are huge (about the length of my forearm)!

no more singing 'going to the garden to eat worms'... i really did!

*** and to answer those of you who have asked since this was originally posted: no, I wouldn't order this if I saw it offered on a menu; and to describe the experience: salty crunch.
