
Martin and I held off on breakfast one morning and ending up eating at the Singapura Bakery (Manado). I, in usual fashion, tried something new… Cakwe. The best I can describe it, would be by its resemblance to Yorkshire Pudding. Yummy, but certainly not very healthy! Like most Indonesian food, even this pastry is served with HOT SAUCE!?
I had it again in Jakarta just recently and really wished I could bring some home... (it was only 1000 Rp. in Jakarta; the equivalent of 10 cents)!
