Root Fruit

Another unique bush find...  The kids are always so excited to show me new stuff when they see how interested I am!  Here is Safrika displaying a root with nodules that the local kids enjoy eating...

Not much actual flesh wrapped around those brown seeds, but it's a sweet, rooty taste that feels like a gift from Mother Earth.
