You can't expect much from budget carriers in Indonesia in the way of a mid-flight meal or snack. Most don't serve anything but a plastic cup of water. There was a surprise for us on our last flight from Bali to Makassar - a 'boxed snack'. What the box contained was even more of a surprise!
A boiled egg, and a fish-filled roll.
We're flying back to Manado on Wednesday, and then our holidays begin on Friday... but I bet there is nothing more to look forward to on the flights!
