There are many pearl farms in the bird's head of Papua, and although most of their wares are exported internationally, some are for sale at the Sorong airport.

This is the sign advertising salt-water pearls and fresh-water pearls... the word for fresh-water in indonesian is "air tawar", however the word for bargain/trade/offer is also "tawar". I guess somebody just chose the wrong dictionary entry!?
