you saw by example of our bathtub komodo
we often have wild things come and go from our joglo
no one bothers the other - it's all good
and it certainly makes interesting our little hood
there's a resident frog in our bathroom as well
he has his own hiding place under a shell
the warm water and soap can't do much for his skin
but what do you know, he just keeps hanging in!
aside from the geckos and tokes and toads and moles
we've got spiders and critters of all kinds in our walls
it must be said also, this open living is great
no limits for the sun and wind to pass through the gate
the only downfall, i'd say, are the evening mosquitoes
but the bats swooping in keep them on their toes!
and so goes the ode to our little abode
i hope you'll all make a visit...
