OFFICIAL BLUE AUCTION UPDATE

... and the results are in ...

An official, inside source has confirmed this morning, that, as the article posted in my previous blog states, The Blue Auction was a resounding success!

Just a note: Lot #12, the Kalabia walking shark, was expected to be the highlight of the evening, and no expectations remained unfulfilled! The winning bidder paid 500,000 for the right to name the Kalabia, Mascot for our Marine Education Program. This, and some of the other funds from the auction which are being allocated to the Education Program will cover the operational costs of the Program for several years!
